Holiday shopping season is now in full swing--and while you're chasing down those Cyber Week deals, we hope you'll consider grabbing a few gifts for the magical folks in your life.
Every year, Grove and Grotto's shop elves work extra hard to rush your purchases from our warehouse to your doorstep. Here's what to expect from our shipping team:
Processing Times
During the holidays, we aim to have packages in the hands of the carrier within 1-2 business days of the order being placed (and sometimes faster). Delivery times vary based on your location and shipping method chosen at checkout.
While we're unable to guarantee delivery dates due to factors outside of our control, let us know if you're in a hurry and we'll do our very best to expedite your order.
Canada Orders
As of Dec. 1, 2024, USPS has indefinitely suspended shipments to Canada due to the Canadian postal workers' strike. In the meantime, we are able to offer service to Canada via UPS. Some items are also available for shipment to Canada on our eBay store.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope the striking workers are able to reach a fair agreement soon, and when the strike ends we will update the shipping options to include regular delivery via Canada Post.
Holiday Closures
Grove and Grotto will be closed Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving Day) and Friday the 29th. We will resume shipping on Monday, Dec. 2.
Christmas and New Year's Day are both on Wednesdays this year and both are postal holidays...that makes for a weird business week. We will close at noon CST on Monday, December 23 and resume shipping on Friday, December 27.
We are closed on New Year's Eve. The first shipments of the new year will go out on Thursday, January 2.
USPS Cutoff Dates
USPS is recommending the following shipping dates to expect delivery by December 25 (excluding Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii):
- Regular (Ground Shipping): December 18
- Expedited (Priority Mail): December 19
Order a day or two earlier to give us time to process your order. If you need your items by Solstice/Yule, you'll need to order earlier.
Gift Orders and Gift Cards
We don't offer gift wrapping, but if you prefer to ship your gift directly to the recipient, we're happy to accommodate you. Just leave a note at checkout and we'll provide a gift receipt with no pricing info in the package. We can include a printed gift message, too--just ask!
